Family Hub is not only a platform for managing entertainment and food but also controls Samsung's SmartThings platform. It can be used to control Matter-compatible devices, such as lights and plugs as well as locks. Samsung's fridge has been around for a while and, even though it has a lot of functionality, the touchscreen smarts aren't exactly an essential feature for the majority of people.
